Make 15 minutes mean something.
Original editorials that turn books, research, and ideas worth understanding into one focused read or listen — with context, evidence, and an honest point of view.
- 1,700+independent editorials
- Text + audiofor every published ototi
- About 15 minfor one focused idea
Not a shorter book. A clearer way into the idea.
Ototi does not march through chapters or pretend you have read the original. Each piece is an independent editorial: restructured, cross-checked, and finished with a real judgment.
Start with what matters
The strongest argument, the useful evidence, and the context that changes how it lands.
Add the missing edges
Where the idea holds, where it overreaches, and what other sources see differently.
End with a point of view
A separate conclusion that tells you what is worth keeping — and what is not.
Efficiency creates more room for more work.
The problem is not that your methods are too slow. It is that saved time is immediately claimed by new demands.
A better system begins by deciding what will remain undone.
Start in text. Continue in audio.
Your place stays with you. Read over coffee, listen on the walk, and return to the exact section that made you stop and think.
One shared position
Text and audio move through the same sections, without making you find your place again.
Ideas worth returning to
Save editorial ideas — not random highlights — and bring one back when it is useful.
Offline when you need it
Downloaded text and audio stay available for flights, trains, and quiet pockets of time.
Start with an idea you already recognize.
Browse familiar source books through a distinctly Ototi lens. Each title opens an independent editorial with context, limits, and a separate Our Take.

Every request arrives with social cues. The useful skill is knowing when those cues carry information — and when they merely create pressure.
A habit without the guilt.
Ototi helps you make room for two, three, or five meaningful learning days a week. The goal is to return to good ideas — not to protect a perfect streak.
Weekly goal first
A flexible rhythm that survives a missed day.
Honest progress
Ototi completed, learning time, and ideas saved — never “books read.”
Clear about what it is. Careful about what it says.
You should be able to see where an idea came from, what Ototi added, and what the piece leaves out.
Original by design
Independent structure, original writing, and no imitation of a source’s cover, chapters, or voice.
Sources you can see
Primary and supporting sources are named, with context and a clear no-endorsement statement.
A separate Our Take
The final section makes the editorial judgment explicit instead of hiding opinion inside a recap.
Clear before you commit.
The short version of what Ototi is, what it is not, and what you get in every published piece.
What exactly is an ototi?
An ototi is an independent English editorial built around a book, research paper, podcast, or another idea worth understanding. It takes about 15 minutes and ends with a separate Our Take so you can distinguish source context from Ototi’s judgment.
Is it a book summary?
No. Ototi does not reproduce a book’s chapter order or stand in for reading the original. It builds an original editorial around the idea, its evidence, its limits, and where it may be useful.
Can I read and listen?
Yes. Every published ototi includes both text and audio. Your position stays shared between the two, so you can start reading and continue listening without finding your place again.
Where do the title cards and audio come from?
They are created for Ototi. Source titles and author names are referential attribution, not an endorsement. The title cards do not reuse publisher cover art, and the audio is Ototi narration — not borrowed audio or a cloned author voice.
What is in the catalog?
More than 1,700 ototi items across books, research, podcasts, psychology, work, technology, health, history, and other ideas worth a focused look.
Does Ototi work offline?
Yes. Once downloaded, both the editorial text and its audio remain available without a connection — useful on flights, trains, and anywhere reception drops away.
Where can I get the app?
Ototi is available now on the App Store for iPhone and on Google Play for Android.
